Galetech History and Experience
Galetech’s core business has been in wind energy development, construction and operation for the past 20 years.
The company’s guiding philosophy is to think outside the box, innovate and realise projects that advance the use of cost effective renewable resources and method of construction that help build a sustainable, more affordable future.
Galetech was established in 2000 by Darren Sherry and his father Donald. The business has grown from the seed of an the idea for a wind farm on the hills around Mountain Lodge, Co. Cavan, to become a leading Irish renewable development and services business that today employs over 100 people.
In 2020, Galetech Sustainable Living was formed to bring this innovative thinking and delivery capability to the residential and commercial built environment.
