Galetech’s core business has been in wind energy development, construction and operation for the past 20 years.
The company’s guiding principle is to think outside the box, innovate and convert plans into tangible projects that advance the use of cost effective renewable resources to help build a sustainable, more affordable future.
The company was established in 2000 by Darren Sherry and his father Donald. It has grown from its beginnings bringing the idea of a wind farm to fruition on the hills around Mountain Lodge, Co. Cavan, to become a leading Irish renewable development and services business that it is today employing over 100 people across all aspects of the business.
In 2020, Galetech Sustainable Living was formed to bring this innovative thinking and capacity to deliver into the living and built environment.
Modular Solutions is a natural extension along this path and looks to deliver the future of energy efficient, low carbon recreational and work spaces for our homes.
Based in the village of Stradone, which is about 10km from Cavan town, we serve customers within a 120km radius and can offer a supply only service nationally.
We work where possible with local suppliers to support and encourage small businesses.
